From Research to Recovery in Tijuana

Stop comparing clinics alone.
Start with a team that knows what to look for.

Your trusted guide to care in Tijuana — so you can feel safe, informed and supported.
More information does not always mean more certainty

Tijuana has many options.
The hard part is knowing what actually fits you.

Most patients can find dozens of websites in minutes. What takes time is separating marketing from useful information, comparing what is actually included and understanding what still needs to be confirmed with the provider.

01

Too many tabs, too little context

Reviews, social media, clinic websites and quotes are rarely presented in the same format — making a fair comparison difficult.

02

Price is only one part of the decision

Who evaluates you, where care takes place, what follow-up exists, how responsive the team is and what the quote excludes can matter just as much.

03

Cross-border care adds another layer

Timing, language, border logistics, transportation, lodging and recovery planning can turn a simple appointment into a complicated project.

Why TCG is different

A guide, a referral model and TCG do not work the same way.

The difference is not who has more doctor cards. It is who the research is built around — and how the business model affects the recommendation.

Directory / search

You browse the options

Useful for discovery, but the burden of screening, contacting, comparing and coordinating still falls largely on you.

  • Many profiles and separate contact forms
  • Different quote formats and claims
  • You assemble the decision yourself
Referral model

The provider may fund the placement

Some referral models are compensated by providers when a patient books or receives treatment, which can create a different commercial incentive.

  • Provider relationship can be central to the economics
  • The patient may not see how the referral is monetized
  • Support may focus on the booking itself
TCG Care Search

You hire us to research for you

We start with your request and charge you for the research. Doctors do not pay TCG a percentage of your treatment for being referred.

  • Patient-side research fee
  • No pay-to-match personalized recommendation
  • Optional concierge only if you want it
From research to recovery

Clarity before commitment.
A simple process built around your decision.

Understand the road, the questions, the possible providers and the next step before you commit to a larger medical or travel decision.

01

Book & pay

Complete the short intake, choose your time and pay the $47 Care Search fee securely inside the booking window.

02

15-minute Clarity Call

We understand the care you are researching, your timing, where you are coming from, priorities, budget context and unanswered questions. This is not a medical consultation.

03

TCG researches

We review relevant providers, public information, reputation signals, available first-step pricing and practical fit, and request additional information when needed.

04

Receive your Care Option

Within approximately 24–48 business hours for standard requests, we organize at least one reasonable option when available. You can receive it directly or review it with us by video.

05

You decide what happens next

Connect directly with the provider, ask us to clarify the route, or choose optional concierge support for the non-clinical parts of your visit.

Then you decide. We can introduce you directly to the provider, or — if you want more support — quote a separate concierge service for scheduling, communication, transportation, lodging coordination and other non-clinical logistics.
What we look at

We do not stop at a polished website.

TCG organizes relevant signals so you can ask better questions before committing. The exact review varies by category and available public information.

TCG screening is an informational due-diligence process. It is not medical credentialing, accreditation, a clinical endorsement or a guarantee of outcome.

CredentialsPublic professional information, specialty claims and relevant documentation when available.
Facility contextWhere the consultation or procedure takes place and what the provider tells us is included.
Reputation signalsPublic reviews, consistency of information, patient feedback themes and online footprint.
ResponsivenessHow clearly and quickly the provider communicates when we request patient-relevant information.
Quote clarityFirst-step costs or estimated ranges when provided, inclusions, exclusions and open questions.
Journey fitLanguage, timing, number of visits, follow-up expectations and practical travel considerations.
Care areas we can research

Start with the care you need.
Not with whoever bought the biggest ad.

TCG is building its network and research library category by category. Availability and depth vary by request, but these are priority areas for cross-border patients.

Do not see your specialty? We also review selected requests in ENT, maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, dermatology, diagnostics and other specialties case by case. Start the Care Search and we will tell you clearly whether the request is within our current scope.
The TCG Independence Standard

Our business model should make the recommendation more trustworthy, not less.

That is why we separate personalized patient research from the business services a doctor or clinic may purchase from us.

01

No treatment commission

TCG does not take a percentage of the provider's treatment fee simply for referring you.

02

No pay-to-match

A doctor cannot purchase the right to become the personalized recommendation for your Care Search.

03

Preferred terms can still be requested

When possible, TCG may ask a provider for preferred pricing, clearer packages or additional value for the patient.

04

The clinical decision stays clinical

Only the treating licensed professional can diagnose, determine eligibility, recommend treatment or quote final clinical care after appropriate evaluation.

A Tijuana story shaped by healthcare, family and years behind the scenes of private medicine.

Saúl Palazuelos grew up around healthcare because his mother is a healthcare professional. Later, through TOP CLINIK®, he spent more than a decade helping doctors, clinics and healthcare businesses improve how they communicate, organize and serve patients.

Raised in Tijuanalocal knowledge with a cross-border perspective

That experience revealed the same gap again and again: patients had more access to information, but not necessarily more clarity. Tijuana Care Guide was created to help close that gap — with better questions, more transparent options and a more human cross-border experience.

Saúl's Christian values — service, compassion and honesty — also shape TCG, with ethics and transparency at the center of every recommendation.

“Patients do not need another person pushing a treatment. They need someone who values ethics, transparency and helps them understand the path before they choose it.”

Frequently asked questions

Know exactly what you are paying for.

What exactly do I get for $47?
The fee covers your short Clarity Call, creation of your Care Search brief, TCG's research within the agreed scope, and an organized presentation of at least one reasonable care option when one is identified. It does not pay for medical treatment or a doctor's consultation unless specifically stated by that provider.
Is the Clarity Call a medical consultation?
No. TCG is not a clinic and does not diagnose, prescribe, determine medical eligibility or tell you which treatment you medically need. The call helps us understand what you are researching and what information should be gathered.
Do doctors pay TCG to receive my case?
Doctors do not buy the personalized Care Search match and TCG does not take a percentage of their treatment fee simply for referring you. Providers may separately pay for public profiles, content, media, technology or business services; those commercial relationships do not guarantee patient placement.
Will you always give me several doctors?
Not necessarily. The launch promise is to identify and organize at least one reasonable option when a fit exists. Depending on the specialty, urgency, availability and the quality of information we can verify, we may present more than one option.
What does the 24–48 hour timeline mean?
For standard requests within active categories, our goal is to present the researched option within approximately 24–48 business hours after the Clarity Call and after we have the information needed to start. Complex cases or delayed provider responses may require more time, and we will tell you if that happens.
Can TCG guarantee the lowest price or a medical result?
No. Providers determine their own fees and clinical recommendations. We may request preferred pricing or added value, but TCG does not guarantee the lowest price, medical eligibility, clinical outcomes or that a specific treatment is appropriate for you.
What happens if I want concierge support?
After you choose a route, TCG can quote a separate non-clinical concierge service based on what you need — for example scheduling, bilingual communication, transportation, lodging coordination and visit logistics. You are not required to purchase it.
